Due to the increased wait time which we are all aware of, European Adoption Consultants, Inc. feels we should be proactive in the care of all our children until we can bring them home. Therefore, with the help of Jiang Bao Tian (Project Panda) and Uncle Zhou, we have decided to raise funds for the children who are waiting in the orphanages in China.

For those of you that don't know about Project Panda and the donations that we make to the orphanages on every trip, this is money that Mr. Zhou uses to purchase items needed by the orphanage with funds raised through Project Sunshine. In the past, Mr. Zhou has purchased items such as washers, dryers, air conditioners, television sets, cribs, walkers, digital thermometers, playground equipment, and a piano at the request of one orphanage to teach children music.

We are setting our personal goal at $6493.00. Why that number you may ask? According to the NY Times, in 2006, 6493 visas were issued by the State Department to Chinese orphans. This will help the children still in orphanages and celebrate the children who have already come home.
