Married couples wishing to adopt an infant from China must fit the following criteria:
  • 30 - 50 years old.

  • Physically healthy.

  • Mental and emotional stability.

  • Free of contagious infectious diseases or medical conditions which would prevent parents from caring for a child.

  • Financially stable.

  • Marital stability.

  • Capable of raising and educating an adopted child.

  • No more than 4 children already in home.

  • Be fully prepared for possible risks and delays involved in inter-country adoption.

  • Be a recommended by a licensed social worker who completed the family's home study in the form of a home study approval.

  • Have an understanding and be prepared for the possibility of post-adoption adjustment difficulties that the family and/or child may experience.

  • * Requirements completed during home study process.

    *At this time, EAC is not accepting single applicants.*

    CCAA's first concern is placing the children in safe, happy, and secure homes. When we all work together, we can achieve the same goal.
