At the time of adoption the Chinese children are usually between 8 – 12 months old.
EAC adoption consultants are available evenings and weekends to assist families with
paperwork and process questions.
Adoptive parents receive pictures and medical information on the children before
travel to China.
Chinese adoptions can be completed within 34 - 36 months after the dossier is
submitted to China.
Historically, there have been minimal health issues found amongst the children.
The Chinese Government screen parents carefully. This can take time, but the process
is fair and thorough. Families who adopt from China are treated with dignity and
respect.
The trip to China is approximately fourteen (14) days. It is comforting to travel with a
group of parents and Zhou, our bi-lingual Chinese Coordinator. Zhou stays with
families through the entire trip.

our parents in China!
