Anabelle Burt

We decided to add another daughter to our family when we made the decision to adopt Anabelle from China. Like the other families that choose to adopt, we compiled all our paperwork and EAC submitted it on our behalf.

We received our referral and fell in love instantly. Soon after, we were off to China to meet our newest daughter. She was everything we had dreamed she would be. It was really nice to know that Uncle Zhou and the EAC staff were at our disposal 24-7 through our trip. Once we came home, our older daughter was excited to help out. Anabelle pushed some limitations, as many children do. We eventually established a routine and things got better. She loves to be outdoors and music. Anabelle came home from China with cleft lip/cleft palate. Her lip was repaired in China and her palate is intact. She may be required tubes in her ears and a possible surgery around eight years old. She is healthy and happy!
