If your agency has closed and left you stranded, please call 1-800-533-0098. We will assess your situation and do whatever we can to help complete your adoption.
The following steps are provided to help you get started:
- After receiving and reviewing your free information packet, call 1-866-586-5656 to speak with a pre-adoption consultant. Our pre-adoption consultants will answer any general adoption questions you may have and advise you on specific adoption criteria.
The pre-adoption consultant will also assist you with registering for an adoption seminar. If there is not one scheduled near you, a phone seminar can be conducted at your convenience.
At this stage many of our clients will complete the online application and application fee with the assistance of the pre-adoption consultant.

your BCIS (INS) offices -- call (800) 375-5283 -- and order your Immigration and Naturalization Services I-600A packet. You can also obtain this form by visiting the
BCIS web site at
http://uscis.gov/graphics/index.htm.
Fill out the I-600A and send it back to INS with the fee and all the required
documents except the home study. Include a note explaining that you will submit your
home study when is it completed. INS will contact you via US mail with an
appointment submission. Please note: INS only
accepts money orders, cashiers checks or certified checks. Checks
should be made out to USCIS.
Upon receiving approval of your application, an assigned adoption consultant will help you through the very complicated dossier process. This dossier is presented to authorities in the foreign country and must be 100% accurate.
Your EAC consultant will also assist you in selecting a homestudy agency. (EAC will conduct homestudies in Ohio, New York, and Florida).
