The Birth of Project Sunshine...
Project Sunshine began nearly ten years ago as "Project Snowsuit", a humanitarian aid project for European Adoption Consultants Inc. The original goal was to provide snowsuits and warm clothes for the children living in orphanages but it was quickly discovered that outerwear was not enough! Today, that project has turned into a organization of its own. Project Sunshine and European Adoption Consultants, Inc. continue to work together to raise funds for orphanage relief in Russia, China, Guatemala, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Vietnam and other countries around the world. The majority of the funds are provided by our loving and caring post adoptive families. These donations allow us to purchase the much needed formula, vitamins, food and juice in country, thus avoiding the costs for shipping and handling. We feel it is not only our responsibility to help these children and allow them not only to survive but for them to live healthy, happy, and thrive!
