Seminars are free. EAC offers adoption
seminars in various cities across the United States. The purpose of these meetings is to provide information to
prospective parents about the adoption process. Paperwork and costs are explained. Adoptions from different countries
are compared. Pictures and video of adopted children are shown. Best of all, adoptive parents share the travel
experiences and their adjustment to parenting their new child. Highlights of the meetings are when proud parents
"show off" their new arrivals. The meetings are informal with much question and answer time. Attendence is free,
but RSVP is appreciated. |
